Anne manages CanAssist's website, edits its newsletter and other publications, and provides a range of additional communications support to the team. After completing an M.A. in Journalism at
the University of Western Ontario, Anne worked for five years as a reporter and
copy editor at the
Ottawa Citizen. She moved to B.C. to take a position
as communications officer for the provincial government, writing speeches and spearheading a media monitoring service. In 1995, Anne began working for Bell Canada, both in Ottawa and Victoria, where her roles included Web content creation, editing, project
management and media monitoring. She joined CanAssist in 2009.
