Benj earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree at UVic in 2008, with an option in Mechatronics. In 2010, he completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at UVic, with a thesis based on the design and testing of a hand rehabilitation device. Benj joined CanAssist in 2011 to provide support in our research lab, specifically working on the WISP gait analysis project and chip encapsulation research. Benj has always been very interested in the application of technology to the medical field and in exploring ways it can improve people's quality of life.
