Sandra joined the CanAssist team in September 2008. She supports and conducts research focused on enhancing and developing assistive technologies and devices as well as motor rehabilitation therapies to improve the quality of life for those with disability. Prior to joining CanAssist, Sandra worked for many years within healthcare. She has extensive experience as a clinical physiotherapist in the areas of neurology, orthopaedics and geriatrics. She also held administrative and educator positions within the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
