BC Personal Supports Network
BC Personal Supports Network (BCPSN) is a
network of organizations dedicated to improving access to personal supports for
people with disabilities. CanAssist is sometimes called upon to develop
customized technologies for participants in its Equipment and Assistive
Technology Initiative. Known as EATI, this initiative provides a
source of funding for the assessment, trialing of purchasing of equipment and
assistive devices that relate directly to a person's disability needs and will
help them reach their employment-related goals. The fund also covers required training
on the equipment.We will be adding more articles on clients who have received CanAssist technologies through our partnership with BC Personal Supports Network, so please check back.
