WorkSafeBC
WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of British Columbia.
Under an agreement signed in July 2010, CanAssist, under service contracts, now develops customized technologies for B.C. workers who have been injured on the job and have been referred to us by case workers, occupational therapists and other WorkSafeBC employees. Specifically, CanAssist works with two groups within WorkSafeBC: Special Care Services and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. In most cases, the technologies we provide under these contracts are designed to increase the independence of workers and improve their quality of life, or support workforce retention or return-to-work goals.
