Iker was born and raised in Mexico and moved to Canada where he graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and World Literature.
Deeply devoted to the improvement of human well being, Iker has been involved in the field of mental health and social work since 2019. He is especially passionate about inspiring young adults to transcend their challenges and cultivate fulfilling lives.
Besides mental health, Iker is deeply passionate about the arts, history and philosophy, and has published his poetry in several literary magazines
