Programs & services
CanAssist's programs, services and technologies are available to all. We welcome requests from individuals or families regardless of the challenges they face. We also provide services to organizations to help them assist their employees or clients.
While the majority of our programs focus on clients in
our own community, as awareness of our program has grown, we now routinely
support people and organizations across B.C., Canada and internationally. It is
our goal to provide our technologies and services as widely as possible,
subject to resources.
Recently we have expanded our program to make our customized assistive technology services available to organizations under contracts. Revenues from these service contracts support their delivery along with our organization's overall sustainability.
However, most of our activities continue to be undertaken in direct
response to requests from members of the community. Wherever possible, we
do not charge individuals and families for the technologies we develop nor for
the services we provide.
