Job Journey

Formerly known as TeenWork and AccessWork, CanAssist is delighted to introduce Job Journey.

Job Journey serves job seekers aged 15+ who self-identify as having a disability and/or mental health barrier to employment. 


Job Journey offers the following:

  • Paid workshops to gain employability skills
  • Option of in-person or virtual setting
  • Career exploration and discovery
  • Cover letter and resume support
  • Practice mock interviews
  • 1:1 job coach to help with job search and on-site job support
  • Paid certificate training such as First Aid, Foodsafe or WHMIS
  • Part-time or full-time students are eligible
  • Wage subsidy for employers is available

Job Journey also offers support and resources for employers who are thinking of or have recently hired an employee with a disability or mental health challenge.  These resources will be made available on our website in mid to late 2024, please stay tuned.
