CanAssist at the University of Victoria shall not be liable for any damages, claims, liabilities, costs or obligations arising from the use of this service, its reliability or how others use the service.
Under no circumstances will CanAssist at the University of Victoria be liable to any person or business entity or misuse of the service through any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages based on any use of this service.
Privacy Statement
CanAssist at the University of Victoria is committed to protecting the privacy of CanConnect users.
CanAssist at the University of Victoria is only collecting the name you provide for other users to identify their contacts, your email address that you provide to act as a login credential, your verification question and answer to verify that new contacts are trusted and a profile image provided by you.
Any personal information you provide is managed according to British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and University policy GV0235 – Protection of Privacy. If you have questions regarding FIPPA or GV0235 please email privacyinfo@uvic.ca.
