Our Team
Aleah joined the CanAssist employment team in March of 2024. She graduated from Vancouver Island University with an Honours degree in Psychology and an Addiction studies certificate. Aleah’s honours focused on neurodivergent relationships, and she was grateful to work as a community support worker for adults with disabilities throughout her schooling. Aleah is passionate about advocacy for individuals with disabilities and those who are substance impacted, as seen through her previous work as an outreach worker. Aleah is excited to be a part of the CanAssist team!
As a visitor on this land of French Canadian descent, I acknowledge and respect the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples on whose traditional territory the university stands, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
