I work as a Policy and Research Analyst for the Closing the Employment Gap for People with Disabilities: Innovative Assistive Technology Solutions, a project aimed at enhancing workplace inclusion through custom assistive technologies. I received my MA in Economics from the University of Victoria, and I also hold a BA in Economics and Math from Franklin and Marshall University in Lancaster, PA.
Prior to moving to Victoria, I was based in Cambridge, MA working to support analyses of the economic impacts of regulations, the analyses of climate change impacts, and support environmental litigation efforts. Working to support the disabled community is important to me because I recognize how anyone, at any point, can become injured, ill, or in need of additional support.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching soccer, going to trivia with friends, and reading. And a fun fact about me is that I have lived in 4 different countries: Ghana (my native country), Kenya, the United States, and now, Canada.
I acknowledge, and respect the ancestral, traditional and unceded territories of the Lkwungen people (Songhees and Esquimalt) where I have had the privilege to live and work for the past three years.
